No. We recommend only having a book available for sale as a stand alone and in one box set. Putting your book in multiple box sets could be considered “duplicate content” by KDP and would be against their content guidelines.

Yes! Our program is meant to be suggestive and you can do whatever you want. However, we have designed FPA to provide you with the best advice in order to protect you. There are some companies out there that aren’t good. We recommend Upwork and the ghostwriting companies listed in Module 2.

No. The blurb your writer gave you will not be good enough. We only review blurbs that you have re-written 10 times in accordance with Module 3 blurb training because your writer is not a marketing expert. Writing blurbs is a sales skill that is only mastered by publishers good enough to hold the top 100. If your ghostwriter had this skill, they wouldn’t be writing your books. Plus, they are too busy writing books to master this. This is your job and one of the largest secrets we can teach you.

Once you have watched all blurb training and re-written your blurb 10 times, you can do the following.

‍

1. Post your blurb in the Facebook group for a review by us.
2. Attend a live group coaching call.
3. Bring your blurb on a one-on-one coaching call for review.

‍

Our feedback will give some pointers, but we’ll always be encouraging you to do more revisions so that you can sharpen your own blurb skills. We want to “teach you to fish” rather than just giving you a fish.

In time with practice you will be a master at this.

‍

Always look to the top bestsellers in your niche and see what they have on their covers! The bestsellers show you exactly what covers will sell. Refer to Module 3 for our training on how to do cover research and ensure you have a great cover designed.

We don’t recommend it for beginners. Most readers prefer standalones. If you decide to do it and fail, simply go back to non cliffhangers right away.

However, remember within the books you want each chapter ending with a cliffhanger to encourage the reader to keep reading through to the end of the book.

No, it is against Amazon KDP’s terms of service to have more than one KDP account.

You can have an unlimited number of pen names within one KDP account. However, each pen name you will double your workload. We recommend building one pen name beyond 10k+ monthly revenue before even considering it. This way you can afford a team to do most of the work.

More money can be made from focusing and building a quality brand first. For example, our successful students earn between 10k to 100k+ PER MONTH from just one pen name. So, why not make your life easy for now? 🙂 Just have one pen name.

Having a consistent publishing schedule is important. We recommend publishing one book per month to keep good sales momentum going. At most, a successful pen name can publish every three weeks but this is not necessary.

Don’t let this trip you up. For people in the US, simply get started and once you’ve made about 10k in royalties go consult with a really good CPA/accountant. They can help you determine the best strategy and 9 times out of 10, you will end up paying way less taxes as a US business owner.

For people in other countries, I would seek counsel right away but, we’ve never heard of it being too difficult for foreigners to get started.

YES! You can outsource many tasks in your business, but it’s necessary for you to be 100% confident and consistent in every task before you outsource.

Then try giving out one task at a time and don’t give another task until they have mastered the one you gave them.

Example: First newsletter swaps. Then booking promos. Next all email tasks. Next formatting books. Next Facebook ads. Lastly you can have someone manage all things writing but this means you are making a lot of money and can afford a good employee. By this point you also won’t need the advice of this FAQ!

On your Business Manager dashboard there is a help icon. (little question mark) Click that and then on each subsequent screen click on the buttons on the screens pertaining to help or support. Eventually you’ll be brought to an option to either email support or live chat with support. Send a message explaining your situation and they’ll guide you on what to do.

BUT, even if you get banned forever, there is always a way. Plenty of businesses get kicked off of FB and continue running ads. Switch company names. Get a friend or relative to let you use their account. There is always another way. Don’t settle for anyone else's rules.

Facebook's guidelines are very clear about what is acceptable. Read over them. It won't take long.

If you know the reason why (some issue with the image or copy), make the necessary changes and re-submit.

If you feel you haven’t done anything wrong, you can appeal the rejection inside the ads manager.

You can also make a copy of the ads and try re-submitting but it’s best to not do things that will get you flagged.

The new student orientation call is like a welcome call showing you how to use the program and get support.

The success call is a one-on-one call via telephone with a high performance coach who will help you create a custom publishing plan and set some goals so you get started off on the right foot when joining FPA. This does not count against your one-on-one coaching calls. It is separate.

The group coaching calls, live Q&A calls and office hours calls are all the same thing - weekly group calls where you can show up and get your questions answered.

‍

One-on-one coaching calls are 25 min long with a coach who is one-on-one with you, reviewing your progress and answering your questions.

Yes! Recordings of group coaching calls are accessible inside the program.

On the left side of the course menu, click on “Weekly Group Coaching Call Recordings”.

We keep recordings for about 30 days or so, so be sure to watch them soon after the live call.

Here at FPA, we understand that things happen.

Every so often someone will come in and get sick or have a death in the family or something weird and terrible and unexpected will happen, to where they can’t continue with FPA.

‍

God forbid, if an extreme circumstance happens to you, whatever you do, DON’T run to your bank to dispute the charge. It might seem like an easy way to get your money back but it’s not.

People don’t understand that it’s dangerous to dispute a charge.

‍

You can get into these nightmare scenarios where the bank takes 6 months or more to approve the dispute… because there's all this back and forth and bureaucratic red tape.

‍

It’s just a mess, and a lot of the time they don't even approve you, so you go to all that trouble for nothing and you still don't get your money back.

‍

So to avoid all of that nastiness, if you’re ever in an extreme situation where you can’t continue with the program and want a refund, just contact our support team - let us know what’s happening - and we’ll do our best to work something out with you. ‍
